AESSEAL® is celebrating again after securing two awards at the prestigious British Engineering Excellence Awards (BEEAs), which recognised its commitment to promoting engineering as a career.
The South Yorkshire-based mechanical seals design and manufacturing company was named as Engineering Ambassador of the Year at the awards ceremony at London’s County Hall. The company was also awarded the Grand Prix award, for being the ‘best of the best’.
Organised by leading B2B publisher MA Business, the British Engineering Excellence Awards are the benchmark for great British engineering design. AESSEAL was commended for its work in encouraging increased interest in engineering and promoting the uptake in STEM subjects. On receiving the Grand Prix award organisers referenced AESSEAL’s commitment to promoting engineering to the wider community since 2002 and the fact the company had contact with 2250 students in 2017 alone.

The BEEAs are the latest of ten award wins for AESSEAL in 2018, with the most recent being names as the first Business of Trust Champion at the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards.
